Vera Wang

Every little girl dreams about her wedding. I did. Yes, even me. Now that I am a twenty-something, tons of my friends are planning or having (or already had) weddings. Most of them bought their gowns at David's Bridal. Blech. If I wanted to be a boring, cookie-cutter bride, then I would buy a gown there too. However, I don't want to be a blah bride. I want to be a fabulously-out-of-control-golddigger bride, and that is why I want to wear a Vera Wang wedding dress someday.

I'm not really sure what I'll do if I never get married. Perhaps, I will just buy myself the dress anyway. Vera Wang is fantastic. Not only is she Asian (Asian=fabulous), but she makes dresses that are ethereal and unique. And who doesn't want to look ethereal and unique? (Unless you are a skank and want to look slutty in front of your pastor.)

Now, I realize that Vera (yes, we are on first name basis) is more couture than body-conscious, and that perhaps I may not look good in one of her flowy dresses. This is why I am also open to other designers, like Monique Lhuillier. If I ever do get hitched, I hope that mermaid dresses are out of style. I know that I am too short for them. Although, I really loved the Amsale mermaid-style that Sandra Oh (AKA Christina Yang) almost got married in on Grey's Anatomy.
Doesn't she look gorgeous?

Who says we are out of control?

So, I thought I would start with the MOST out of control thing that I wanted...

This is my dream car...well one of them. Don't judge, you know you are just as bad...just to afraid to admit it.

DREAM CAR FACTS: What makes a dream car?
1. It must be foreign (That's what she said...)
2. It must be fast
3. It must be hot
4. It must, last but certainly not least, be ridiculously expensive

My dream car info...
328i Coupe
Starting at $35,300
MSRP3.0-liter, inline 6-cylinder engine
230 horsepower
Rear-wheel drive
28 mpg hwy*

Our very first out of control post

This blog is created exclusively for Mattie and me. Perhaps, I will lay aside the "exclusive" label later. Or not. Who knows? Anyway, this blog is for posting ridiculously expensive things that we want. The best place to find these is amazon.com. Here is today's out-of-controlness:

The Kindle is a wireless reading device. Now, don't get me wrong. I love books. I love the smell of fresh paper and turning pages. However, I do not enjoy lugging books around the country, especially when I am flying. So, the Kindle is the perfect solution. It only costs about $399, which is probably more than I have in the bank right now. ;)
That is all for now.
